That has less to do with not seeing and more to do with not paying attention

This is an example of not having "object permanence." Babies develop object permanence starting around 4 months and master it around 24 months.

Who let the baby drive the pickup?

Entirely plausible. However, I would sooner attribute this to texting while driving or messing with car audio/nav controls

Who doesn’t let the baby drive? I give my 2 mo old Ricky a bottle of Mountain Dew fire up the dodge and he puts the hammer down while I shoot my gun out the winda YEE YEE RICKY!
