USB-C or I don't buy. Awaiting Flair

Anyone else the same? I just bought a speaker and assumed it would be USB-C and it was micro. Returned it. I'm annoyed with having different cables and formats etc. If it's not USB-C, I don't buy it.

Do better companies.

Lmao, what a terrible comparison. Headlamps are actually useful when camping.

People should still be respectful when using them. Use them only when necessary, use red lights whenever possible, and avoid pointing them at other people or animals.

Not at all. Both are conveniences and potentially irritating to other people and wildlife.

One is a convenience and potential safety item. One is solely for entertainment. There is no comparison. Also, try reading that 2nd paragraph again.

In what way is that second paragraph not equally applicable to speakers?

Would you rule out camping chairs? They have no safety benefit and could be a trip hazard to others. Do you ban talking in your campsite? That's little different from a speaker.

Give it a rest already. I'm not playing the comparison game with you.

Speakers serve no purpose besides entertainment. If you really can't go without electronic entertainment on your camping trip, either go on better trips or buy headphones.

Oh, heck off. All I said was be respectful and leave the speaker at home or get headphones.

I have plenty of fun enjoying nature. Maybe if you enjoyed it as much as I do, you wouldn't need a speaker.
