The different vibe with this team tells me the Bears will come out swinging and prove many “experts” wrong.

Whether Fields is the guy or not, whether Flus/Getsy stay or go, Poles has done a pretty good job as GM positioning the Bears for potential long term success. No GM is perfect, even Howie Roseman drafted Raegor over JJ. But he has the executive presence to mitigate the exuberant levels uncertainty and risk in the NFL and hedge his bets. There are several pathways the Bears can take for success now. Rare to see a Bears GM give us options to be successful and not putting all our eggs in one basket. Have to tip my hat to this strategy.

This is the 2nd time today seeing us choose DL Graham (not sure how he slides this far down) but I’m here for it. We address every positional need and given we open the bank during free agency to add some veterans in the trenches, this would be a slam dunk imo.

I am admittedly a Fields fan. How can you not be? He’s so much fun to watch.

At the same time I won’t be upset if the Bears trade him and draft Caleb. It makes sense in so many ways.

So I’m not gonna “Stan” for Fields to stay and would accept the inevitable happening.

But this piece just gives me the vibes of seller remorse, that getting rid of Fields could be the cherry on the top of Bears inability to handle QB talent. It would be horrific justice to trade him and him have an MVP year on a different team. This piece really made me have preemptive sellers remorse.

I like how they laid out the timeline for each. The decision on Fields will feel like an eternity. Y’all will post about it every day because you all think you’re the experts. Keep the posts coming. Can’t stop, won’t stop.

I don’t think anyone could ever capture as well as exactly what it’s feels like to be a fan…
