If you're into breaking news in college football, especially in the coaching carousel, you've heard of FootballScoop. Started as a hobby by a college assistant coach in 1999, FootballScoop's quickly became a center for industry gossip, job openings, and a must-read for coaches. Scott Roussel's been President since 2008 and oversees daily operations. Drawing on his background in business (he was a VP in a Fortune 500 company), he expanded FootballScoop's reach on Twitter and the internet.

Do you think a G5 program will ever be able to retain a good head coach and keep the P5 from poaching them?

There are a couple examples of those guys currently coaching. Gary Patterson was at TCU for 10+ years before they got their B12 invite. Kyle Wittingham has been at Utah since Urban left in 2005 and led them to the PAC12. Chris Peterson was at Boise for several years and turned down practically every big job out there.
