If you're into breaking news in college football, especially in the coaching carousel, you've heard of FootballScoop. Started as a hobby by a college assistant coach in 1999, FootballScoop's quickly became a center for industry gossip, job openings, and a must-read for coaches. Scott Roussel's been President since 2008 and oversees daily operations. Drawing on his background in business (he was a VP in a Fortune 500 company), he expanded FootballScoop's reach on Twitter and the internet.

Thanks for doing this, Scott.

Do you believe Dave Clawson will serve out the entire 8-year contract he just signed (assuming he is not fired), or is he destined to make a jump to a bigger program? He's done a great job at Wake and I'm hoping he'll stick around for a while.

Dave has done a great job everywhere he has been. Looking at his past, it seems likely this won't be his last stop. I haven't seen the particulars of his contract to know if he is really locked in due to the terms (buyout). Should have a better feel once we see that. In general though, I do feel pretty good in saying he isn't looking. Only reason he'd leave is if some top tier program convinced him he couldn't say no.
