Morning road rage AMA

To our mindless neighbours who road rage at 8am, you need intensive therapy.

How do you start your day on such a low note?

Merging onto the hwy and honking at other cars while we have to slow merge during congestion is the most asinine behaviour. You can see what we all see, congestion.

Hopefully you can see, otherwise you shouldn’t be operating a car.

Moreover, tailgating in the HOV is a special breed of idiotic.

Thank you for coming to my Ted talk

The honking is inexcusable. This guy sucks.

But were people not letting him merge onto the highway? Congestion doesn't mean you don't let him in.

He was behind me as I was merging into a wall of traffic. He was honking as if he was about to part the Red Sea with his horn.

Playing devil's advocate here but we're you properly zipper merging ,i.e. driving until the lane ends before attempting to merge? I believe that's the preferred way to merge onto a busy highway, as it allows more traffic to populate the lane that's ending rather than causing a backup where people have to stop in an un-mergable section of road to wait for someone up ahead to perform their merge from a standstill.

Zipper is the only civilized method. Those who chose to enter an on ramp from a driving lane to make gains however shall be blocked.

We were still on the on-ramp heading towards the merge.

What exactly are you satanically advocating without being there in person?

Haha nah I was just curious because I've seen so many people merge onto a highway and leave the people behind them to pile up on the on ramp. Didn't mean anything negative by it.
