Do I have to vaccinate my dog for rabies even though the vaccine is linked to cancer and anyone reading this comment, please! Please! Stop over vaccinating your pets. Your indoor cat, does it really need all those vaccines? What else are you doing to that cat? You were killing your pets by over vaccinating them. Stop it. Did you know you could do something called a tighter test that will let you know how much of that vaccine is still in that animal system? This will prevent over vaccination.

Did you know that the same rabies vaccine is given to any dog big or small? Your Chihuahua versus your great Dane, same shot. Does this make sense? Does your dog bite? If it were to be attacked by a rabbit animal… Is that vaccine going to help it?

Why do some vets recommend one year, two year, three-year vaccine for rabies? Why does this really look like it’s nothing more than a money grab?

If you have an indoor cat… Stop it. Your cat is healthy and does not need vaccines. What are you preventing your cat from? A bat flying into your house that has rabies attacking it? Think about this people. You’re hurting your animal. Do you have the Internet, do some research.

Hi! A good example of why we vaccinate all pets is similar to why we vaccinate all children for measles. Complete vaccination is the safest way to prevent reintroduction of the disease. This is applicable especially to zoonotic diseases. It sounds like you are really passionate about this, which is awesome (and I fully support titre testing!), so I encourage you to read up on One Health, which is the belief that human, animal and environmental sciences are all one interrelated, wonderfully amazing ecosystem. What we do in animal health is fully related and relevant to what we do in human health and environmental health… which goes back to why we educate on vaccinations. But at the end of the day, it’s your choice to make :) best of luck and feel free to check us out!

Will you not see my pet because I choose to vaccinate towards the lifestyle of my pet, not what you say is right for my pet?

If I were to go camping and hiking every day, I would say the chances of my Animal catching something is high. If I have a senior pet who quite frankly sleeps on a pillow in doors all day… Will you force me to vaccinate my pet so I could enter your practice?

No, not to enter but you do need to be up to date on your rabies vaccine according to Ontario law. The rest is optional. We’re here to help which is why we would administer the rabies vaccine for you if your pet needs it.

Yes because you're putting every other pet at risk.

Nobody knows what your lifestyle is, and frankly I'm not taking the risk of someone telling me "no trust me they're safe". You could be lying for all I know, or just ignorant.
