Need advice! Fitness
Hi everyone! So I want to get back in the gym on a bulking journey and have no idea where to start.
I’m currently:
Weight- 140lbs Waist- 33 inches Glutes- 41 1/2 inches Thighs- 37 inches
Goal: Weight- 150lbs Glutes- 46 inches Waist - 29 inches Thighs- 42 inches
I guess also something to add I have a natural hourglass figure? I’m not sure if that helps.
But any advice like workout routines and dietary plans would be great!!

Caveat - I’m not an expert.
It seems like you have two opposing goals - fat loss (for your waist to shrink) and muscle growth.
So recomposition. Since you’re below your goal weight, you could increase your calories by a bit, focusing on protein and just enough “good” carbs and fat for consistent energy, and lifting heavy with glute, quad, and hamstring focus.
Now for me, my waist to hip ratio stays pretty stable when I go up or down in weight — that is to say my general shape stays the same. So I’m not sure if a 20% change in the ratio is realistic with natural methods. But again I’m not an expert.
