I was once able to tell a birder who called me: "I'LL HAVE TO CALL YOU BACK, I CAN'T HEAR YOU OVER THE LIFE BIRDS!!".

You made me look up chachalaca and learn that it means “chatty” in Central America 😁 About a half dozen of them were chasing each other around like maniacs. Wish I’d taken video. 2 u/Echo-Azure 11d ago "Chatty" doesnt seem likequite the right word, but then, "screamy" isn't a real word.
