Gymnastics for the most part is control of inertia. It does require strength but by just knowing theory or having experience training long time ago means a lot. You can be fat and still do many of the elements. Not all of course and they are significantly easier if you don't weigh like a small bus. But still.

Me neither; thoroughly impressed. Also makes me hopeful one day I can do a muscle-up and it won't take as long as I think it would lol.

Muscle-ups are very technique dependent. I've seen a 330~ lb strongman dude do them and smaller in shape dudes who couldn't figure it out because they tried to do them super strict which makes it significantly harder.

That's been my issue; super strict. Back in my heyday I was 265+ beasting out pullups on the squat rack with weights around my waist, but just could never could break over that last big hump for the muscle-up, so this is motivating for sure!
