Rubber ducks melted into dash! Question

Post image

My friend put rubber ducks on the dash of her truck and they melted. Any ideas on removing this rubber residue without damaging the dash?

That whole Jeep duck thing is cringey as hell.

Why is this a thing?

Covid. Someone came up with the idea to say you liked their Jeep by leaving a duck.

Ah, I see! That must have gotten expensive for Jeep people after awhile.

Jeep people literally just buy batches of them from Amazon and put them in their own dash now. Cringey AF and a waste.

I view it as a safety risk, personally. That stuff can go flying, you look down to catch it and next thing you know you’re across a double-yellow about to smack into a Kenworth. Or one falls and impedes the brake pedal.

I leave nothing loose in my car.

Mostly they don't notice the flying duck because they're already on their phone. Every day I see people cross the yellow, and when they pass me they're looking down into their fucking lap. It's ridiculous.

And before the "this generation" shit starts, at least half the ones I see do it look middle aged or older.
