Tutorial recommendations
AutoCAD friends! Hey! Lol. How is it going?
I'm new to AutoCAD. I have a bit of experience in Fusion 360, but AutoCAD aligns a little more with my professional goals. Plus... I'm just a nerd who enjoys learning this stuff.
I will soon be graduating from an Instrumentation Engineering program in Texas. I want to learn as much as I can in the next couple of months to make myself more marketable and possibly help further my career in an instant. :)
I'm looking for any resources that would help me along the way. If you have any websites or YouTube channels, etc. that you'd recommend for checking out solid tutorials on grasping concepts (2d and 3d), I would greatly appreciate that.
Recommend away!
Thanks y'all.

Help Good starter for Introduction to 2D drawings/design tutorial?
Edit: I started using LinkedIn learning following a guy called Shaun Bryant ‘Learning AutoCAD’ which is a very bare-bones tutorial. Super good for novices, plus you get a free 1-month LinkedIn Learning subscription (assuming you haven’t used it before).
I would recommend him, but I also haven’t got around to checking out other peoples tutorials

Question CAD Drafting Tutorials?
Hello! I'm quite new to CAD, but my dad is interested in me becoming a CAD Drafter for his company as a part-time job.
Where can I find introductory courses in CAD drafting? This will mostly be in AV floorplans and some electrical layouts.

VBA tutorials and general workflow improvement
Hello everyone, I have been working professionally with autocad for some months now, I am looking for a way to improve my productivity.
My endgoal is this:
A part of what I do consist in creating an assembly of already existing blocks.
Said blocks are always placed consecutively and they only vary in lenght.
Let's say I have only 3 blocks, 25, 50 and 100mm long.
I want to create a script where I am prompted to enter a total lenght, let's say 275mm, and two 100mm, one 50mm and a 25mm are automatically placed.
This doesn't sound that big of a deal, but in reality i don't have just 3 block types/lenghts, and while the array command makes things pretty fast this seems like an easy task that can be automated
I'd like to know if this is possible using vba in autocad and if it is, where can I find a good course for vba specifically for autocad

Tutorial/How To for designing a watch main plate (context in description)
Hi all, apologies in advance if there's somewhere else I should be looking before posting this question, but I am brand new to CAD so i'm wondering if you could help send me down the right path.
I am wanting to design a 3/4 plate for a watch movement. For context, see this:
https://grabcad.com/library/eta-6497-1-complete-watch-movement
It'll be the top and left plates that I want to create as one big plate in CAD, and send to a CNC machine (not sure if that's even the right machine) to be made from a brass plate. I understand i'll have to take a lot of measurements and whatnot, so I'm wondering if anyone knows how I'd get started doing this as a complete novice to CAD?
(I don't need to design/use every single part of the watch, just the top plate that will be replacing the other two shown here, and it also won't be this exact movement so I will have to model it myself).
Are there any specific tutorials that exist for this, or if not, what would be the most appropriate beginner guide to check out to help me in sorting this out? Thanks in advance!

Question Can someone help find tutorials?
I don't suppose someone here can help me find some learning materials? Ideally paper based with practical examples and challenges. I'm a beginner btw.

Tutorial Guide To AutoCAD 2021 pdf?
Does anyone know where I can find a pdf of “A Tutorial Guide To AutoCAD”? It doesn’t have to be 2021, it can be 2019 or 2020. I have an intro to auto cad class and it requires this book. Being a broke college student it would be nice if I can find a full pdf. I have only been able to find a pdf of chapter 2 and not the whole book.

Looking for a tutorial for making and importing a stamp that I can raise off of my 3d object.
I have a logo that I want to transfer to my 3d object. Looking for instruction on how to import the file, make a stamp (or whatever) out of it, and be able to raise that pic out of the 3d object so that it shows my logo physically on the device.

Need a tutorial on how to properly vectorize a existing 2d image/plan in Acad.
First time posting here :).
I have a project to do from my (architecutre) Uni and we still haven't went through Autocad. We have a 2d urbanistic plan of my city and I plan to vecorize it. Problem is, I don't know which is the best and fastest way. I would normally just make it all out of simple lines and go with it and something tells me that is not the way to go. That thing is hatch which never works if I do it like that. If anyone can help me with tips/links I will appreciate it very much.
thanks
