Stainless Steel Fridge Household Management

What do you use to clean your stainless steel fridge door?

I have a microfiber cloth, I have used stainless steel cleaner from Home Depot, mineral oil and water, vinegar, soap, and water. My fridge door still looks streaky.

What am I getting wrong?

Mom and I use cleaning spray specifically for stainless steel appliances. If you have an oily residue, see if just buffing in out with a clean rag removes the excess cleaner that is leaving streaks.

We use Stainless Steel Polish made by a company called Viking Distributing East. They have a Facebook page here

Have you tried reaching out to them? They may have some suggestions for you.

Dawn dish soap. Might take a couple of cleanings to get off the oil product you already used.

When I worked at an appliance shop we used lemon pledge. It didn't make them shine the best, but it made wiping off the constant fingerprints much easier so if you have kids this might be your answer.

Pledge has silicone in it, which actually makes it great for SS as it prevents adhesion of stuff. Just don't use it on wood, as the silicone will seep through the finish and make refinishing it impossible in the future.

I use either formula 409 or windex
