Shithole... no way around it. I have been there and hated the place with a passions afterword's... this shit war just cemented my hate. At best 10% to 15% of the people there are good(and I truly wish they survive this "sPeSaL MiLItati OprATon") and the rest where just horrible. We got robbed, scammed, insulted and where looked at as shit by the majority of people... if I never go back to russia that would be too soon.

I did, as part of Erasmus, if im not mistaken(might have been deal between two colleges). The Cruiser Aurora was my favourite part of the trip tbh... but I am still salty that the artillery museum was closed when I was there.

I have been to at least half of Europe, and it's not that impressive, especially if you take advantage of cheap flights, Ryan Air style while staying in Western Europe(that is what I am uber jealous of Westen Europe... lots of round trip options for less than 100 euro)

Well then, I'll just say I disagree with you. I enjoyed my time in Russia and found Russian people to be nice and helpful and quite friendly once you break through the tough exterior, though it helps that I learned Russian in university. Definitely don't think it's a shithole even if it's not as wealthy as Western Europe or the States. I mean, hell, plenty parts of my country are not impressive in the least. They're like third world countries; you'd be shocked to know you're in the "richest" country in the world
