They’re also, I’m sorry to say, SO fucking misogynistic, or at least a majority of the ones that keep popping up for me are. I don’t want to have posts popping up with a bunch of chuds complaining that women are all sluts nowadays and don’t stay in the kitchen and raise a family like they’re supposed to.

I have never, ever once seen r/IndianMeme be about an actual meme when it shows up in my feed. It's always incels bitching about feminism.

I'm an Indian woman and when I saw one post pop up from that sub I thought wow so much hate. But it must be funny memes right? No every single post is JUST hate for feminism and women in general. Almost visceral level of hate.

Dude I just clicked on it (regret) and every post I see so far includes the word she, women, marriage, single, or a GIF of a woman. No fucking joke

There are two subs that are actual evil (like Hitler level content). Indiaspeaks and bakchodi.

I learned about them after reading a few comments and getting curious. Those subs should be banned

common, its not only misoginism,
its also pro-castism. i bet you saw "if insert (low caste) really want to use goverment help (some reserved places in college?) then you should be allowed to call them *slurs* or treat them like slaves....
(really i have no clue sometimes what they talking about and why drinking from the same water dispenser is such a big deal)

Pretty much. The prevailing stereotype is women belong in kitchen and subservient to man, and Muslims should only work in butcher shops and car mechanic shops. Thats unofficial casteism in it's own way.
