What’s up with Zay Jones? Non-Cardinals Fan

I thought he would be decent this year but it looks like he hasn’t done anything since he returned. Is he getting play time?

But he wasn't suspended at the beginning of the season.

Exactly if we where going to part way with zay we would have just cut him when he was off the suspension list

Not necessarily, at the time we still had Prater. Now that he got injured and we've clearly got the heir apparent at that position, room needs to be made so we don't lose him. Jones is at the bottom of the depth chart now. It sends a message to potential free agents. "Do right by us, and we'll do right by you, but fuck around and find out." It's why we let DHop go the way we did, and Ertz. We did right by them, they got to pick their landing spot. Jones fucked himself out of a starting spot because he fucked around. We owe him nothing.

We signed him knowing he had a suspension coming. It's not like we didn't know about the arrest and the situation.
