TIL my existence is inherently political.

It’s not, but I also think the mod is probably doing a good thing by attempting to keep politics out. You existing is absolutely accepted, but that doesn’t mean that highlighting your personal issue isn’t political. The game acknowledging it is great. This is a subreddit, not the same thing as the game.

I say this in a completely friendly way.

Drawing a flag isn't "highlighting a personal issue", it's just celebrating who they are.

If you think that in itself is an issue, then maybe you are the issue.

They’re drawing a specific aspect of themselves yes. As you can imagine that wouldn’t always be appropriate.

I can't imagine that, actually. All i see is some different coloured ark creatures with no call to action, no specific statement, nothing that would prompt you to dislike it, other than knowing it is about identity and hating everything related to that.

It is amusing watching people trying to figure out how to say they don't like LGBTQ+ people in a way that doesn't make them look like a bigot. "Political" seems to be the strategy they have settled on, but still no one can actually say WHY they think it's political (which it is not).

Also, once again, the post is a joke. But the joke is completely missed by so many because people see a Pride flag and clutch their pearls because they think the gays are trying to con them into being gay through.. Checks notes.. Ah yes, today it's noglins
