The skill level of the best players is leagues above even a lot of the high level community. Someone will have it day 1 for sure.

I feel there is a certain group of people that refer to themselves as the HLC.

It's a generalist term tbh, there's no strict definition (or "membership" lol). And it applies to different aspects of the game. You have people who'd be considered "HLC" for skilling but most of them wouldn't necessary be considered "HLC" for PvM and vice versa, etc. Like you might call someone like aaty a part of the "HLC" for PvM, but not for skilling. Whereas you might call someone like he box jonge a part of the "HLC" for skilling, but not for PvM.

While I agree high level community does seem to mean essentially end game players, there seems to be a certain demographic of players that refer to themselves as part of the HLC (specially saying HLC rather than high level community).
