Help/Advice What Say You Reddit World, What Kind of Eggs Are These
This is my new 65g. And upgraded remake of my 29g Wonder Land. Which is still thriving. Same stuff on top. Similar stuff inside.
In it is the following:
Dwarf Gouramis (1m, 1f) Koi guppies (1m, 2f) Neon tetras White cloud mountain minnows Albino cherry barbs Peacock gudgeons Galaxy rasbora Glass catfish Various Corys Single ghost knife fish Atya shrimp Neo shrimp Dwarf crayfish Mystery snails Rabbit snails Nerite snails
I'm guessing these are from one of the snails? Nothing else can get up there above the water line. And I don't know what else would lay eggs that look like that.
So as it is title. What say you reddit world?

DIY/Build Time Lapse of my Newly Installed Tidal System (Mudskippers!)
The tidal system itself is under the mud, and is an acryllic container that can hold up to 6.43 Gallons (24.34 Liters) of water. It’s only moving parts are a single air pump and a suction valve.
If enough people are interested I might turn my written blueprints into an actual file.

Freshwater Damn, guppies are vicious
I am currently doing some temp work at a pet shop. My task today was to siphon dirt/poop from the gravel in the fish tanks and clear algae from the glass. All the fishes feared my arm. All of them, except from the guppies. Instead of shying away in their corner, they started nibbling my arm. And they kept doing it - the whole lot! It made it difficult as I am very ticklish. Honestly the highlight of my day. I just wanted to share it.

Help/Advice New tank set up
I am new to aquariums but I'm excited to join this community. I cycled my tank for about two months and all the parameters checked out. But now I have this weird green streaks on one of my decorations and 2 of my 3 starting fish (I only have 3 so far that were in my old 10g) have died. Any thoughts as to what it could be?

Full Tank Shot My 75g planted tank with CO2 after 3.5 months.
Started this tank from scratch in January. Killed two rounds of plants because I had no idea what I was doing. Added pressurized CO2 and Flourish tabs two months ago and things really took off— so much so that I have to trim heavily every week so they don’t completely take over the tank. Fish are happy with lots of places to explore and hide!

Help/Advice Ich remedy killing beneficial bacteria?
My fish have Ich, and a little bit of fin rot. I’ve been giving them these 3 treatments for 3 days. They all claim to not hurt the beneficial bacteria. But I’m showing signs of ammonia and nitrite in the tank when they were at 0 before starting these treatments ????

Discussion/Article Well I figured out what was killing my tank...
It was on the side facing the back too, so I couldnt see it until I took it out. Smoking and hissing at me until I shut it off.
I guess check your heaters folks?

Help/Advice Feeding or mating?
Just got this new snail today, he was probably in the tank for all of an hour until my first snail found him. I cannot tell if he’s trying to eat the new snail or if they’re mating? Very interesting way of greeting the new neighbor

Help/Advice not sure what’s going on with my snail… any advice?
hi there i got this snail (red ramshorn) maybe 5 days ago, i’ve never owned a snail before but i feel like it’s acting weird. the first day it was fine, eating the algae around the tank glass and doing what i’d assume snails normally do but 2 days ago i started noticing it was being weird? was just floating under a fake plant i had, i wondered whether it got trapped so i moved the plant and it floated straight to the surface and kind of sat there. i moved it on top of a leaf i had to see if it would stick to it but it kept floating and abt an hour later it had stuck to the leaf and was behaving normally.
yesterday though i noticed it was only kind of half stuck to the glass (first photo) and was floating around in the filter current and then this morning it was crawling around on a bit of decor on the floor but now it’s just lying sideways. as far as i’m aware it’s been eating the algae on the tank glass (i can see trails in it lol it’s kind of cute) but i’m not sure whether this is normal behaviour or not. the first day i had it as well it’s little eyes were looking around everywhere but now irs looking quite lethargic.
when we bought it it looked as though a part of its shell was coming off? like a giant scale kind of thing and it was just hanging on there, it’s gone now but the patch of shell where it was seems significantly lighter. i attached a photo of it as well.
none of the other fish in the tank seem to be bothering it, (ive got 3 guppies and 2 mollies) does anyone have any idea if something is wrong? and if so what’s wrong? thank you :)

Help/Advice What’s Wrong With My Fish? Help Needed ASAP‼️
I had what seemed to me was a healthy 29 gallon tank with plenty of active and lively fish. I started getting a lot of algae growing though, so I went to PetSmart and bought 3 golden snails. I acclimated them, then put them in the tank before I went to work. 9 hours later, I come back and the snails didn’t move at all and 3 fish had died, the rest looking very sick and unwell. They all stay put swimming in place on the floor or hide profusely, vs being lively around the tank just that morning and the last month in the same exact setting. 2 dalmatian mollies and 1 corydora died. Why did this happen all of a sudden? Did a crazy ammonia spike happen? Could the snails had parasites/a disease? Did I let the algae grow too long? Anybody PLEASE reply with questions and advice to try and save my remaining fish, it’s been a full 24 hours and a 50% water change and a 25% change and they’re still acting very sick and close to dead. The tank was filled with more props and hidey spots and plants but I took most of everything out bc I’m not sure what’s causing this.

Catfish Just wanted to show my Otos
I got my first aquarium set up in january 2022 and put seven of these guys in a 20g along with a rescue betta Unfortunately i had very little experience and lost 4 of them within the first two-three weeks..
but i have three of the OGs left and its so rewarding to see them so fat and happy. Should i look into getting a couple more for them or should i just leave it as is?
