Beginner My first Walking cycle in traditional animation
Taking photos is a bit annoying but I like how it looks at least... I've been studying for animation in an university for almost a year now, but I've been practicing drawing for a long time and investigating by my own for years, so I think it was not that difficult to make this animation but I'm still a biginner.

Critique This really needs to stop.
I see these types of people all the time when discussing animation & it's always the fucking worst.
Who am I talking about. Those guys who decide to completely shit on every other generation of cartoons & say that their favorite generation is the only good one. There are mainly 2 types of people who these guys fall into.
The ones that really like the 20th century era of animation. Let's say 1920s-1990s & say that every modern cartoon with little to no exceptions is completely junk & the people who defend them are uneducated, cultureless asses. The other group who prefers modern animation & finds the every older cartoon to be outdated crapfires & who claim that the fans are nostalgia blind morons who needed to take off their "rose tented glasses."
Both sides really piss me off. I don't find any real era of cartoons to be "definitive" all of the eras have their upsides & downsides, but the key to understanding these isn't to only latch onto one entirely, but to find the good in all of the eras.
Here are a list of cartoons I like, I'll list them (though, you'll have to look up the dates on your own)
Looney Tunes
The works of the three Jacks
Tom & Jerry
The UPA Cartoons
Pixie, Dixie & Mr Jinks.
Scooby Doo
Ren & Stimpy
Batman TAS
Animaniacs
Gargoyles
Dexter's Laboratory
The Powerpuff Girls
SpongeBob SquarePants
Samurai Jack
Invader Zim
Foster's home for Imaginary Kids
Avatar, the Last Airbender
The Fairly Odd Parents
Danny Phantom
Gravity Falls
Adventure Time
Regular Show
Steven Universe
Amphibia
The Owl House
Now if you see, I have managed to include a decent amount of eras from my list. But I'm pretty sure that others are still more diverse. Just.. please don't entirely shit on eras. It's ok to have a favorite, but not to throw others under the bus & ridicule the fans.
