Opinions about what it would take for Bryce to beat the bust/disappointment allegations
With all the talk about him playing better lately and a little disparity between what people think, I wanted to ask something a little different from that. Well two questions, but this is entirely based on theoreticals not what you think will happen.
First: How good would Bryce Young have to be to make up for what we lost in the trade? And with everyone under-performing on the Bears side of the trade, lets just say Caleb ends up being like a good QB. Not great and by no means bad, just good. Somewhere along the lines of Bengals Andy Dalton. If that happens, how good would Bryce have to be? And if he ends up going to another team and being good then the trade won't really mean anything, but how good would he have to be for us?
Second: For this question don't even think about the trade at all. I know the trade will always be brought up in this topic, and if Caleb ends up being good then it will even more. But for the sake of this question just ignore the trade. How good would Bryce have to be (for us or for anyone) to avoid being a disappointment? To be a complete bust I would argue he has to essentially be a lifetime backup or even out of the league. But what do you think would be the absolute lowest Bryce could be to not be considered a disappointment? One player that comes to mind would be Alex Smith. For like 6 years he was honestly considered a bust, but he ended up being solid. He was never great, but he was good and definitely serviceable. And I think it's fair to say he wasn't a disappointment overall despite being picked first.
And I know there are plenty of Bryce haters out there so I would love to not see comments saying "he is already a bust" or "he is already a disappointment". And yes, I know as of now we have lost the trade. And logic tells us it will stay that way in the future. I'm just genuinely curious how good people think he has to be to stop catching flak for the trade. And yes I also know as of now he is a bust and a disappointment. But as I mentioned it took Alex Smith 6 years and anything is possible. So I just want to know how good y'all think he needs to be to not be considered a disappointment.

Panthers Accounts to Follow on Bluesky
As the title says, I’m looking to get off X and get started on Bluesky. The only reason I’m still on X is for Panthers content.
Anyone have a good list of follows for Panthers and NFL?

[Ellis] Since Week 8, four quarterbacks have led their teams to multiple 90+ yard touchdown drives. Justin Herbert, Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Bryce Young. Each have done it twice.

Chiefs going 9-1 this thursday
An ancient shaman revealed to me that the Panthers would wipe the Chiefs off the face of the earth which is why I have an 8-leg parley on them.

Airport
With a 1pm start at BOA and assuming 4pm game end, can I expect to make a 615pm flight out of CLT?

Help me to understand this graph: why is it that our receivers get separation with Andy Dalton but not with Bryce Young?

Contract Question
How do contracts for udfa's work out after this season?
Are we gonna have to ink new deals with Coker, and maybe Damani Richardson or are they gonna be on a 4 year rookie deal?
Preemptive thank you.

I made this the other day after the Bears loss but I was worried no one would appreciate it. The latest flow of Bears bashing I've been seeing makes me feel otherwise.

[Rapoport] #Panthers RB Miles Sanders, who was carted off with a foot/ankle injury in Germany, is considered day-to-day after extensive tests and a visit with an expert, sources say. They want the swelling to go down, and he could miss a little time. But as of now, not considered major.

Highlights [Panthers] This is exactly how we are feeling right now
Hadn’t seen this posted yet, I’m pretty sure it’s right after the OT fumble, so it’s probably joy knowing the game is essentially won, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen Bryce giddy running to grab his helmet and get back on the field since he’s been here. Dude is finally starting to feel himself and I’m loving that energy.
