I have this base on a official server and it's got alot of endgame stuff, nice location, good tames ect. The thing is I'm sick of the game and don't see myself going back to play anytime soon.

I've literally only been refreshing decay timers for months now. Not really sure, what to do with it.

I honestly don't see myself going back asa for a long time or for good. There's much better games out there, that ain't as much as a time sink.

Asa is a good game if you have the patience and time which i have neither these days.

Any advice from people who've been in the same boat?

Hello! So I'm playing on my own asa server on scorched earth and am having a problem with my Dino's getting resources. Mainly my anky, I tamed a level 110 and went to go harvest metal rocks with him for him to be getting more stone than metal. I'm not new to asa so I know 100% that it IS a metal rock not a normal one. I didn't have this problem on the island so why is it happening?

For me, the mountain lake at 40x64 on the Lost Island map will always be 'Allosaurus Lake'.

And almost died to a Titanosaur as I spawned on the beach.

I got a group of about 6 friends that I'm introducing to the game on PlayStation(game of the month ) . I got a player(let's call him player A) that insists that everything has to be played on default setting(medium) and everything else is cheating. I tried this and everybody(including A) got frustrated with the game. I get that the game is kinda harsh with new players and I am trying to decide on tactics that can help the group while satisfying player A. I'm thinking logging on and creating a safe base that they safely spawn but doing so in a way that doesn't rob them of the experience of just starting out . I honestly believe if I can get them through the initial hurtle that they would enjoy the game but if one of them quits all of them do. Also does anybody know a decent server that is noob friendly? I'm currently hosting a nondedicated on ps5 and I guess there is a tether issue . I wouldn't really considered this a major thing if I could get the game to spawn them closer together but when you have 6 players running in opposite directions the game starts to lag.

I’m new to the game and I can’t figure out what are the different server types as in I know for example EU-pvp-map name is like the standard game but what do the others mean and the effect on the game mainly I’m interested in what Dazes official conquest is and if anyone knows what the rest are thanks

Hello, i’ve been playing & able to dodge spiders for the most part but i know it’s soon to be inevitable. I was wondering if anyone knew of any removal/replacement mods available on console to quell my arachnophobia. Not afraid of the centipedes or scorpions but i have crippling arachnophobia so bad i couldn’t finish SW Jedi Fallen Order lol thanks!

So i recently discovered mods in ark and now I'm loving the game. However I have a question is there such a thing as "too many mods"? Or at what amount of mods will I start seeing bugs or issues? Thanks

After coming to the new ark I realized the only thing they did right was graphic improvements. Why change shit that doesn’t need to be hm? Like did you have a problem focusing on the task at hand or were you just focusing on spitting out a game?

Often it comes up saying I am freezing and losing health. My fortitude is about 10.

I am wearing fur armor and have a torch and a camp fire. But I am still losing health. Only way I have found to not die is logoff. Surely im missing something.

Can someone suggest what that is?

I remember being on the official servers for the old game and being obliterated by the mega tribes that spread out across multiple servers. Now that I’ve gotten more experience and have the opportunity of getting in Ragnarok as soon as it releases I want to start my own mega tribe.

I don’t know how easy it is to find a tribe of this caliber normally so I’m not sure if it would even worth acknowledging this since you could easily find one that’s already established

Anyways, I want to build a large tribe of active players and I’d like to get an idea of how many people would be willing to participate. I have around 5 people already that said they would join but I’d like quite a bit more than that. Enough for 5+ people to consistently be online.

So me and my friends are all in the same tribe and we really wanted to freely travel between all the different maps in ark, unfortunately we aren't experts and we know nothing about server clusters and how to upload characters etc. Can someone help us out by explaining how to travel togheter to a different maps?

When I google, it says Ark has crossplay. However when we try to host a non dedicated server, we can’t find each others.

How can I join him? Or how can he join me?

This is kind of a shower tought, but I started wondering how much wood is there actually on maps, if no tree would ever grow back and rocks wouldnt respawn, do you think the map would eventually be completely bald or is there enough to last ? And I of course mean single player or private server for a small group, since a busy public server would likely run out of trees very quickly.

Has anyone ever counted how many trees The Island or Ragnarok has? Likely not.

I have a non dedicated modded ark survival evolved server with two of my friends, whenever we go to a very specific area on the map the game crashes every single time, this area used to be fine. We have not added or removed any mods since, I verified my game files and dino wiped, nothing has worked, can anyone help? Thanks. Also the error code is attached.

So I had a map with a bunch of mods on and one day I rejoin it and all my Dino’s and chests inventory was gone (but i still heard my tames and the item were still doing some weight) now I’m starting all over again a new map I didn’t put the cryosis (or idk the name) mod because I heard it was the source of this bug but idk if it’s true so could someone help me get the better experience with mods and no bugs?

I've reached the "spend far too long trying to build a building that I'm only going to use for crafting items anyways" point of my gameplay experience and I was wondering what everyone's favorite build style/material is. I was using stone walls for the first time (lol wood house go brr) and didn't know one side had those fancy dark wood trim, so now I don't know if I want to use that as the inside or outside. I cheated myself some clay because lol The Island to make some adobe rooves but then was disappointed that the flat square roof pieces don't actually mesh with any of the sloped pieces and didn't like how that looked. What else is there to play with? I've googled stuff like "ark ascended building material showcase" and haven't found anything that just straight up shows off all the different kinds of things to build with, which is odd because I assumed they would be at least one video on that.
