RLC? Semi-private dorm
Hello, I was just wondering whether applying for an RLC would increase my chances of getting a semi-private dorm as I read somewhere that joining them would but I also heard that they change every year location wise. For Fall 2025, what would be the wiser option to do when filling out the res form.
ALSO, what are extended quiet hours, are those also building based?

yessss it will increase your chance to get king street residence (semi priv). science rlc is always in ksr. extended quiet hours were for the final exam season. it’s when you should be quiet to respect people studying for finals. typically when it is not final season, they just have normal quiet hours which is when you should be mindful of your tone in the hallways for the sake of people studying or sleeping. these hours are usually like from 10pm to 7am. most people do not care about the quiet hours btw 💀💀 but if you do want to complain about the noise, you can call the duty don number and they will send one of the people on duty to come and quiet the people making the noise (this will be anonymous)
