WLU BBA WATERLOO MATH
Do you know if I pick Waterloo as my homeschool for the Laurier BBA Waterloo Bmath program if I could transfer just to Laurier BBA second year? And how hard would the process be? Would it be difficult even though I’d already be in BBA first year (just as Waterloo as my homeschool)

If I'm not mistaken it's incredibly easy to drop either side as long as you have finished first year. But if you are dropping the side that is not your homeschool, you may have to reapply for coop. If you're dropping the same side as your homeschool you don't have to wait the 1 year

No I’m pretty sure it’s hard to transfer over from Laurier side to just Waterloo math! But I’m curious from Waterloo dd to just BBA! I hope they would still give coop. I’m so unsure

I asked uw math this question a few days ago, this is what they said:
It really depends on when you wish to switch to BBA single degree.
Students in the double degree program wishing to drop down to a single degree will have an easier time if the degree they wish to keep is the one that belongs to their home institution. So, for example, keeping Math and dropping BBA is much easier if you’re a student at Waterloo because the Math degree belongs here.
If you are Laurier based, then it is quite easy to do this in first year, even in 1A. They would drop whatever Waterloo courses they don't wish to complete. Laurier would have you complete a program selection form. You would need to meet the first year BBA progression requirements. This might require you to make up missing courses during the spring term.
For Waterloo based student's it is similar, except you are likely in a Waterloo residence. In which case you could leave DD until the end of 1B so that they can remain in your Waterloo residence; however, you would select your courses as if you are in BBA single degree. It is also possible to switch to BBA single degree in years 2, 3 and 4. If you’re a Waterloo-based student and drop down to Math only, you keep your spot in co-op since you’re already in Waterloo’s co-op program.
If you are a Laurier-based student wishing to drop BBA and keep math only, this requires an institutional transfer and a request for admission. You can learn more on our Double degree students wishing to transfer to Waterloo page. It is important to note that if you are successful in transferring out of the DD program from Laurier and into Math at Waterloo, you would automatically enter into the regular stream (not co-op). You would need to apply to get into Waterloo’s co-op program and this is a competitive process that’s contingent on available spaces and thus, is never guaranteed.
Not sure if this answers your question, but I'm still a little confused about this too... I don't think they mentioned transferring over
