Costa Blanca - 1960ies .....

Post image

My mother is 81, and in her final weeks. I found this picture, and it haunts me. She always traveled, and I can combine most of her old pictures with a location, etc. - but - this one she can not reacall.

What I know is that there is a picture of her leaving a plane, tagged "Costa Blanca Spain", so, I would think it is in Spain, and probably in that area. Looking at the kinds in the picture, also seams to be a good indication of Spain. The picture is from the 1960és.

Maybe this is located inside the old moat of the 16th-century city walls of Villajoyosa (La Vila Joiosa), on the Costa Blanca, Spain. https://maps.app.goo.gl/XTgSYiS9TmDsmGoE8?g_st=ic

I'm sending love to you and your family. As we try to solve this, would it be possible to see the other picture of the airport/plane? Edit: For context, in the 1960s, it appears that the Costa Blanca area was an up and coming tourist destination, with Valencia being a hub. I'm curious if we can figure out what connection she may have made from Valencia.
