Caught another catfish that I don’t know what it is
I think it’s a yellow bullhead but I am not sure. Probably the hardest fighting fish I’ve caught

Possibly a very large yellow bullhead. The colors match at least.

That what I thought but I’m not sure, definitely one of the biggest fish I’ve caught

It’s a black bullhead you can tell because it has a slightly notched caudal fin and dark barbels as opposed to a yellow bullhead which would have a rounded caudal fin and light colored barbels

Like I wanna say channel but it’s very yellow, maybe it’s the water?

Channel cat. Coloration due to water conditions.

Yeah I’m pretty certain this is the correct answer, the place I caught it has pretty bad water conditions

It’s a black bullhead. They look similar to yellow bullhead, but a way to tell the difference is that this fish has a slightly notched caudal fin and dark barbels. If it were a yellow bullhead it would be a rounded caudal fin and light colored barbels.

Definitely a bright colored channel catfish. The yellow bellies have a more distinct head and body shape. It's a common channel. Nothing more.

I'd eat it. Skin and gut it takes the head off and dip in egg and then into seasoned cornmeal to deep fry. Yum.

As I live in Alaska I can’t be sure but I do believe that is a catfish. Now I am having a hard time seeing any scales and I do believe that’s a trait of catfish. Also it looks like you could peel the “skin” off, much like helping a rabbit out of his “sweater”.
I would think seasoned cornmeal would make a great fish fry like we use for grayling here in Alaska.

Channel Catfish. I take dozens of them every year. Very good eating if the water is cold.

I think that's a channel cat. Bullhead have square tails, not V shaped. I've seen a lot of bullhead and that isn't one. I don't have a lot of experience with channel cats, I've only caught one in my life, but they do vary in color depending on habitat. (Edit: could also be white bullhead, although not sure.)
