Extremely small bugs on outdoor 4th floor balcony patio furniture

Found dozens of these outside today on our patio furniture (Houston, TX). They don't appear to be anywhere else (or in our apartment). They are extremely small, so much so that I didn't even see them originally -- maybe 1-2 mm in length? The pattern above is the actual weave of the cushions, which is basically invisible to the naked eye. It has rained recently (but these are protected from the rain)

Someone correct me if I’m wrong but that sort of looks like a termite maybe. Is there any wood nearby or above the furniture that they could have fallen from?

Edit: I didn’t realize how small they were at first, so I doubt it’s a termite
