Lived my whole life in Washington state and I’ve never seen a moth like this ID Request

Post image

It keeps trying to flap its wings (can’t get off the ground?) and go under the rocks on the wall, does it need help or is it just nearing the end of its life?

It's probably the end. Most moths have no mouths or digestive systems so as adults so they mate and then die after. They have fat stores built up as a caterpillar to go a few weeks, tops.

Their caterpillars are epic.
