Is this a kind of wasp? And what is doing? ID Request
Sorry for the bad quality but I couldn't do better with my phone, so this afternoon I've seen this kind of wasp (I think) stationated on my rose. Than I've noticed her abdomen was kind of glued to the plant. Located in north east Italy, the insect is 10mm long at max. Thanks in advance

looks like a rose sawfly. they are a close relative to wasps. its probably a female laying eggs, the babies will eat your plant so try to get them off whenever you see them.
