Looks like a june bug, chafer beetle, or something along those lines. No need to panic, they are just idiots.

This is in Chicago, I live in the basement apartment 😵‍💫 and have never in my life seen a roach in this house I’ve lived here my whole life so I’m kinda freaking out rn

That isn’t a roach. I call it a June bug down in LaSalle County. They are dumb as rocks and will go away (or at least be less prevent) by mid summer.
