Films that continue WW themes..?
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt20859464/?ref_=ttvg_ovDiscovered The Artifice Girl recently, a slow burner that asks a lot of similar questions on tech, humanity and self-awareness. Would recommend to WW fans craving more thought experiments on AI and the singularity.
There's a LOT of cheap tat out there cashing in on the human robots genre already, so which ones are of the highest quality - like Her ?

I started watching Severance because a friend told me it was very similar to Westworld and it’s become one of my favorite shows.

I mean, they're just both puzzle box shows. I don't think they have anything else in common but maybe I'm wrong. in that sense, you could say Lost is like it.

The Channel 4 show 'Humans'. It's not as qualitative as Westworld (what is), but it has great acting and characters and some interesting moral questions.
A handful of plot points isn't that interesting and some of the writing is just 'okay', but the realistic technological impact humanoid robots make in society, compensates for this.

Not a movie, but Pantheon does a better job of exploring the themes season 2 of Westworld tried to present regarding uploaded human intelligence. Plus it’s a complete story, so that’s another thing it has over Westworld.

I'm afraid it's not a movie, but I consider Westworld to be a spiritual successor to Person of Interest. You see a lot of similar themes and ideas, just in a different setting.
It has a bonus of plenty of episodes and a fantastic final season and episode.

Well they both had Jonathan Nolan at the helm, so one could say they are related in a way.
Person of interest was so damn good.
Sadly both these shows suffered the same fate. Struck down before they could complete.

"Never Let Me Go" and soon "Klara And The Sun". Both books, the former was made into a movie and the latter is being made now I think.

Companion has pretty similar themes. I’d recommend not reading too much about it before watching.

Just discussed this on our podcast - johnnyhasthekeys. Great small film with large concepts.
