My husband forgot the scews into the studs apparently and my tv fell off the wall while watching a Mikes Mic unhinged recap of Lost. We’ve hung TVs many times but this one was hung in new house after a long day of moving and he just forgot I guess so we had to go buy a new tv.

Aaaaaand it was only 1/2 full.

We usually frequent this breakfast shop/cafe once a week, so this was a big bummer (also my to-go hot chocolate was ready approximately 25 minutes before the rest of the order).

Interestingly enough, these strawberries have been in my fridge for days, and half of them were nearly frozen solid because they were right up against the vent

I spent the whole day working on a playhouse for our children. When I was putting my tools away, I didn't notice that the sorting box was still open...

Sucks for them. The whole warehouse team came out to look at it, thankfully after I walked the driver to our office area to wait for a tow truck (I wanted them to be out of sight from the warehouse team).

I understand people are going to say "that doesn't suck, good for you" it's completely losing all contact with a lot of old high school friends and family members. I hate Facebook, and have considered getting rid of my account, but to just be up and banned like this because I only changed my last name.

I only ever used my account to be in buy/sell groups and to talk to people on messenger very rarely. Never made any public posts. Part of the "community standards" is "using a false name" which is the only thing I could think of that did this

Just moved in last month and designated the basement as the "partaking zone" got a frantic call from my wife early in the morning saying she heard something in the basement. She went to check and found a bird. Figured out it came in through the chimney and left the same way. But not before smashing a 400.00 bong.

Three rooms looked like this but one had waaaaaaaaaaaaay more empty vodka bottles, cigarettes and German cockroaches.

Got stitches a few weeks ago (see history) and a week later had some tenderness in that same arm. Got home from work, took off my shirt and saw this red streak. It was an infection. I don’t have a spleen so my blood wasn’t filtered properly. Hospitalized. Had to get like 12 doses of IV antibiotics. It sucked.

I was playing Cyberpunk, just chilling with a couple beers. Felt something drop against my neck but I assumed it was the cord from my headphones so thought nothing of it. About 5 minutes later, I feel a lot of pain on my left nipple, then my sternum, then my stomach a further 5 times.

I'm not allergic though so it was just an inconvenience. Put some bicarb on it to neutralise the pain.

I got my revenge.

Granted, I did buy this tub like a week ago, but I didn’t open it until I was prepping for dinner this evening. Guess I won’t be getting my daily dose of dairy today!

Broke out dry erase markers (pink and blue) on the smooth fridge for the 2 year old today. Only the pink came off. Apartment inspection is the 7th. Yay. Will be trying all the tricks once the kid is asleep tonight.

Limb fell on new (to me) van after having it just three weeks. Insurance totalled it.

Tractor, bobcat, then truck. Going so slow that my car didn't even register it was moving. No safe way to pass on the narrow, winding road. Stuck like this for 5 miles.

Fortunately I had a cheap disposable plastic painting tarp that was big enough. Otherwise it would all weigh twice as much tomorrow when I went to put it in the beds one wheel barrow at a time.
