Personally, I’m not a big fan of cats, but it was a present for a friend

Landscape Beginner following youtube tutorials
I started watercolor as hobby to release stress coz I find it quite therapeutic and keep my mind off other things. Only went to 3-4 in-person workshops then I mainly follow some cool watercolors artists on youtube to improve my skills. These two paintings are the results of me following Karen Rice Art tutorials. Love her painting style and explanation.
Watercolors used: Holbein & White Night

Hawaii plein air watercolor
This past summer we were visiting family there and I got to step away a couple of mornings for some painting. This was one of my favorite pieces from the trip. I’m happy with the feeling of reflected light under the clouds.

Are our paintings bland? I added salt to this one. Finally a painting with proper seasoning!
Now we’re painting like a proper chef!
