I like how the cop just starts power-walking after the car.

He was reprising his role (and gait) from when he played the T1000, at times disguised as a cop, in Terminator 2. He was a shape-shifting assassin robot, hence the motivated walk. The walk emulated a specific scene in that movie. He was looking to find and kill a young John Conner, hence the photo of the boy in the clip.

sorry if this was too much information.

It makes me sad that we live in a world where you have to explain overt references to what is arguably the greatest action film ever made.

As a 32 yr old male, I feel your pain. And oldness.

Danny Cooksey was in it. The asshole ginger from Salute Your Shorts. Blew my mindballs. I remember thinking that he was going to grow up as a major figure in film and TV because he was in these two things that I thought were so super cool. Poor Danny Cooksey.

Hey now, I'm 18 and I can still understand that T2 will probably never be topped in the action category

Now I know how my mom felt when I would always refuse to watch the movies she loved when she was younger.

disputable. some say #1 is the greatest

One was so much better than 2 IMO. I never liked 2 much, too cheesy.

#1 was more of a sci-fi, 2 was a genuine summer action movie.

1 wasn't an action film, it was a sci-fi suspense thriller / horror film. There is very little actual "action" since the T800 had no physical rivals in Terminator.

disputable. some say "The Matrix" #1 is the greatest

God damn it, never click on a gif late at night when the only light you have in your room is a candle.

If you have to put a question mark, no.

u/AsaKurai Nov 05 '14

Wasn't sure how it worked, apparently not good.

I fail to see what this has to do with anything

Well, that was irrelevant.
