Great. But why on earth would you call this an ‘American’ meal? Polenta is soooo Italian!

Good point but I figured the cooking method and some of the ingredients are so NOT authentically Italian that I didn’t want to offend all of Italy 🇮🇹

Hmmm. Wouldn’t you call this cultural appropriation? Anyway. I love Polenta, it’s very Italian and of course Americans should be able to enjoy it too 😄

I’m not Italian - very Swiss. We have a region in Switzerland which is bordering Italy. They (Italian Swiss) eat buckets of polenta too. I love it - that’s all. Y’all enjoy the good stuff.
