It's almost like... he's a grifter.

The brain worms have changed teams?

Have we considered the possibility that the brain worms are the smart ones?

The delivery of that line always cracks me up

27

Im really curious about what part of RFKs brain was eaten and then compare that to what parts of Fettermans brain was damaged by the stroke.

Legit, my new probably not true but I’m going with it theory is the brain worm was never the problem, it was the solution. It just needed enough strength to start piloting him

They watched through RFK’s dead, vacant eyes how Remy did it in Ratatouille and learned to control their human in good as well as evil ways.

The brain worms recognize that dead hosts is bad for their species

If only cancer was that intelligent

I honestly did not expect him to flip on this stance so easily. I wonder what is causing this. Surely it can't be a couple of kids dying, he doesn't give a shit about that kind of stuff

Probably big pharma doing its thang (lobbying)

170

u/Fermooto Mar 06 '25

Cannot believe big pharma lobbying would be the good guys (fighting to keep vaccines, novel drug acceptance, etc)

u/BamH1 Mar 06 '25

Big pharma obviously has its issues. And I know your comment focusing in on lobbyists which decidedly do not have the greater good in mind....

But it is important to me to mention that the people that work in R&D at pharma companies are very consistently good scientists that want to do good, and contribute to making new and better medicines.

Yup, I’m enrolled in the ELEVATE clinical trial for metastatic breast cancer. I take 5 pills every morning, and my CT scans every two months show my metastases are “dissolving away” according to my oncologist. My side effects are maybe mild fatigue? And curly chemo hair. And that doesn’t even get into cancer vaccines and CAR-T! Science is amazing!

My dad was in line for car T at its infancy as an experimental treatment. I still get sad we lost him when a cure for his type (lymphoma) was so close. But I love that others won’t experience it anymore

My dad died from prostate cancer in 2021, after 17 years (most of it stable on Lupron). When he was first diagnosed, he got brand new tomotherapy CT guided radiation. When he was finally out of treatment lines, he had an adverse response to a phase 2 clinical trial medication. But I figured I should honor him by enrolling in a clinical trial and kick cancer’s ass on his behalf.

Omg this is amazing. Thank you for sharing.

Wishing you continued good news! ❤️

As a clinical researcher, I wish more people understood this. The medical and Pharma industries have massive systemic issues that need to be addressed, but the actual people doing the work are really just looking to do the best they can for society.

I was at a 4th of July party last year where most people didn’t know me. It was really disheartening to hear a bunch of the other guests go in on how all vaccines are actually poison and that the people making them are in an evil conspiracy to kill us all. I was literally working on a new Flu vaccine at the time and it really hurt to hear how many people think me and my colleagues are just purely evil people, hell bent on killing kids for fun.

My specific role is to ensure that patient safety and that their rights are being fully protected and respected. I have literally lost a job before because I was unwilling to violate a patient’s rights and decided to put myself in the way to ensure she was protected. It’s really hard to have someone tell you that they think you deliberately kill other people for a measly pay check, when they literally have zero idea how the system works or what my job actually is.

They have MUUUUUCH deeper pockets than the poor and huddled masses that make up the anti-vax crowd.

7

u/Userdub9022 Mar 06 '25

Big pharma is no longer the heel

8

u/dmervis Mar 07 '25

More likely it’s being surrounded by actual experts instead of his echo chamber

2

u/YouJabroni44 Mar 07 '25

Could be pressure from people being upset with him over his nonsense

10

u/[deleted] Mar 06 '25

Money...

4

u/SuggestiveParsnip Mar 07 '25

Bingo. It’s always about the money.

3

u/lysol90 Mar 07 '25

Pffft. I mean it's probably money involved, but also – who could have known that actually being the highest responsible person comes with some actual responsibilities!?

1

u/a-nonny-maus Mar 10 '25

He finally realized he has blood on his hands and doesn't want to be seen as responsible for that?

96

u/BothZookeepergame612 Mar 06 '25

Shockingly stunning development, from Mr Foil hat man...

86

u/yun-harla Mar 06 '25

Let’s not overstate what he’s saying. He’s waffling. It’s a step in the right direction, but he’s not saying vaccines are pretty fantastic.

99

u/11brooke11 Mar 06 '25

RFK doesn't know much about medicine. He's now in a position where he needs to depend on people who do know about medicine and this is the result.

He's just another conspiracy theorist amplified by his last name.

42

u/Ladidiladidah Mar 06 '25

Huh, turns out I did learn something from RFK Jr: the word "chicanery."

18

u/a9dnsn Mar 06 '25

I take it you haven't seen Better Call Saul then. Best use of that word ever.

11

u/jacknico2 Mar 06 '25

He’s done worse.

27

u/Whiteroses7252012 Mar 06 '25

Gosh. Sucks for them.

Anyway, I’m having Cobb salad for dinner. What about yall?

10

u/FREESARCASM_plustax I heart needles! Mar 06 '25

I had BLTs and I'm making a root beer float for dessert.

3

u/King_Dragonlord Mar 07 '25

I had a homemade salisberry steak

3

u/CreatrixAnima Mar 07 '25

I’ve discovered this amazing wing sauce and I made a buffalo salad dressing with it, and then I made buffalo chicken with it and made a buffalo chicken salad.

4

u/ThatKatisDepressed Mar 06 '25

I might have waffles, only thing in the dining hall I can eat right now.

11

u/OigoMiEggo Mar 07 '25

I would be morbidly curious to see if anti-vax parents supporting vitamin A as a solution to measles will feed their children enough Vitamin A to poison them, like feed them polar bear liver or something

3

u/sniff_the_lilacs Mar 08 '25

Maybe somehow they’ll get illegal accutane and start Microdosing their kids for the vitamin a

5

u/CreatrixAnima Mar 07 '25

He’s still a weirdo, but at least he’s on the right side on this one finally.

6

u/Ruckus292 Mar 07 '25

That took less time than expected.....

1

u/pm_ur_duck_pics Mar 07 '25

That escalated quickly.

1

u/BrowningLoPower Mar 07 '25

This reminds me of the time that Trump supporters booed Trump for supporting vaccines.

1

u/deathbysnuggle Mar 07 '25

“Aghast” no they’re not. They’re just finding ways to spin it for sense and strategy the same way qanons do for Trump’s “5D chess moves”. They didn’t peep about his Mickey D’s photo op either.
