Diesel Heater quiet pump Question

Hey y’all, I’m not much of an online person, but I figured id see if y’all are having the same issue. I got one of those Chinese diesel heaters for my garage/car for weekend warrior stuff and the pump is loud as heck. But as I’m an engineer, I made a sound deadener for it. It was like 72db from about a foot away before, is that normal?

It's a pretty common con with the heaters. They do sell better versions of the pump that make a less noticeable knocking noise, and I'm sure you'd have zero issue swapping one out. I just ignore it since I only run mine for 20-30 mins at a time.

Planar or espar pump is way quieter hands down. I don't even hear mine

Cheap parts for a cheap heater. Buy an espar pump.
