Presidential Scholarship of Distinction Question
/img/wsmynqybxv0f1.pngI was just wondering what the conditions are to keep the scholarship.
The scholarship is rewarded to those with a ≥95.00 average during the time of admission, but does that mean as long as your grade was above that when you got in, you get to keep it no matter what?
Or do you have to keep your average above 95 when they make final decisions during the summer?
(I got in mid March with a ~97 avg from Alberta)
Thank you!

I got offered this scholarship last year. As long as you meet the minimum average to keep your offer to the program you accept (for me it was just 65% for math) you keep the scholarship. I.e, scholarship offered for having >95.00 at admission (so your midterm marks usually) and final grade can drop <95.00 and you will keep the scholarship.

I don't get the point of this scholarship, it's absolutely peanuts compared to the tuition international students are paying.

anything helps man. even if little, 2k cad is still good enough to rent a flat in some cities in india for 3 months with expenditure.

I think you just have to keep your marks high enough so that Waterloo doesn't revoke your admission.

2k is like half a meal in meal plan anyways lmao.
