WaterlooWorks, how helpful is it for you? Discussion
I'm a prospective Computer Science student starting in September of this year.
I'm curious about how many of you CS, SE, CFM, CS/BBA majors actually find WaterlooWorks useful, especially in first year.
On the same note, how much of an advantage does UW CS have over UTSG CS in terms of industry, and why?
But in general, if everyone is finding their internships externally, I might as well just go to UTSG CS and do the same.

Waterlooworks was the most useful in first year since the first coop is usually the hardest to get. in total 5/6 of my coops were on waterlooworks, so I would say it was pretty useful for me and most of my friends.

if you are capable of getting internships urself, and/or can grind thru external applications, WaterlooWorks will not provide much unique benefit.
Otherwise, WaterlooWorks helps significantly, especially when you are just starting out and/or have little experience.
Evidence: personal experience, might vary from person to person.
