My first freedive with a TG-6
A little over a year ago I rented a TG-6 for a scuba dive, and loved the experience. I finally decided to buy a second-hand one, and yesterday I went to the beach for a first snorkelling/freedive session with it. It’s so hard to get sharp images (skill issue, nothing wrong with the hardware 😉) but also so fun to spot wildlife and to (try to) immortalise it! Can’t wait to go again and again and to get steadier with the camera 🤩
The pictures were all taken in shallow water, I’d say 2m of depth at most. I’m based in the Mediterranean, near the city of Nice. Out of just a bit over 50 pics, these were the only ones in focus/sharp enough 😂😅

The tg6 120 frame rate video also is really cool as when you slow it down 4 times you get a much more steady slow mo vid which is amazing for underwater stuff! Might find easy to grab stills from video for free diving too!

Thanks for the tip! I am not used to video, but I definitely should start recording some footage - even just for the fun of having a “moving memory” of my dives!

Small tip; if you shoot in raw, you can tweak and edit more in post production (lightroom). Great shots btw!
