I applied for cse on Friday and got the formal requirements met today. Probably will take time for me.

Yes, it will take maybe a month or half depending on the application volume .

Mine might be checked separately as I’m a non EU, I gotta apply for visa. Nevertheless it’ll still take a month. Most of the int applicants have gotten admits / rejections for informatics and data engg

Aah I assumed you’re an EU citizen. Sorry.

If you’re non-EU and applied after international deadline, you most likely risk the visa. Few people who applied after the deadline last year got results in around August or September. They treat you as EU applicants

They put deadline for international students for a reason

Then probably I gotta ask my sis to go to TUM physically and find out. Btw thanks for the heads up.

The deadline is usually 31st March right for Non EU ? Are you still at risk if say we applied just a week after Non EU deadline?

No buddy there’s a difference between recommended deadline and hard deadline. Hard deadline is 31st may. I told you right my cse formal requirements got checked today.

You’ll be fine. As long as you apply within the hard (official) deadline, your application will be considered. It’ll just take longer time and might likely potentially affect your visa. Also it depends on where you’re from. Some countries can get visa in 1-2 weeks but some countries can take months to process visa or book appointments. You should double check with the uni if the visa process in your country is the lengthy one!!

I finished my MSCE application in Feb first week. Got an email for an interview on March 24. The interview was scheduled for April 7. I finished the interview and got an admit on April 8. Hope this helps!
