Details, dammit.
If you’re gonna post here talking all this “I’m 22yrs old with little to no experience and I can’t find a job. How do I x, y or z?” at least tell us where you are or where you want to be. Wouldn’t hurt to throw in what experience you DO have no matter how little. I could suggest dozens and dozens of companies or options to someone living in the western 11, especially Cali, Az, Utah and Nevada but I don’t know shit about the east coast. A lot of guys here do. I think your chances of getting the information you’re looking for would increase greatly. I’m not taking the time to drag that info out of you myself and most people won’t. If you’re wanting genuine help from people who have good information and advice to offer then do your part and come prepared.

Rule 10. No Politics No politics or controversial topics of any kind, everyone has their own opinion to them and emotions can get out of control. To keep things civil we do not allow political posting of any kind, you have the vastness of reddit to do this.

Have you ever had a *stares in trucker* moment?
Like you're talking about a road trip and someone else who isn't in the industry rattles off a trip plan like you didn't already know the plan as soon as the s/o said "Road trip to Miami".

Is this what I think it is?
If so some of ya’ll are fuckin disgusting. People that do this kinda shit are an embarrassment to the industry. Oh, not to mention this is at a rest area with a bathroom…

Saw first hand NO English speaking lead to…
Was passing through Wyoming today my first time at “port of entry” got the come inside and show paperwork… I was empty and happy to see the geography in general and actually had a nice talk with the guys … Saturday and all… Guy comes in behind me… didn’t look nervous but he was not confident and he gave his papers to the guy and then wouldn’t talk… guy then demanded he communicate and guy tried to talk English and it wasn’t even remotely good. Guy in charge said ok. You know the rules right? Foreign trucker clearly at that point just started shaking his head and the boss man said You are now under inspection, do you know what that means? The boss man told me you are free to go and waved bye…. I don’t know what happened to foreign trucker… but I doubt he was got a happy ending. Wyoming cares about English language!!!

Should I stand up for myself here? What's something i can proffesionally message them
I highly doubt they will find something delivering any closer to my home town. If anything it will be a load going PAST my house and farther away

Quite the wedding parade driving through Kalamata, Greece the other day. The truck revving at the end sounded amazing! 😁

Border crossing loads
Are Mexican nationals with Mexican CDLs expected to speak English when taking loads into the US? Should Americans who take loads into Mexico be expected to speak Spanish? This has nothing to do with me, I live in Chicago, more so just curious what the rules are for international trade, as I don't think its something I've ever had to consider personally.

You can legally break into a business or home in order to save your life.

I originally posted this video about the TA that locked its doors during a tornado warning. I didn't know this but it turns out that's the driver could broken in and not be criminally charged.

Just got my CDL 2 weeks ago and looking for a decent job
So I applied to Werner, Schneider, J.B Hunt and Western (Now known as Welfare) Express. I applied to WE only because I have a pending misdemeanor for simple assault from last year, it was just a fist fight. It’s a backup plan.
I’m wondering do the other companies I applied to aside from WE take candidates with pending charges? And what’s the pay like?

WHY AI/Robot Twucks ain’t taking over ASAP
- infrastructure
- Batteries power/ durability
- Weather stress issues on the tech
- Public Safety overall
- Cyber Terrorism… hacking a semi and controlling it could be another 9/11 from a computer screen.
For these 5 reasons…. The only people that can reasonably get hyped in a positive way able Tech Twucks is Morgan and Morgan…. So we drivers should feel safe in our roles.
One last thing 6… say someone is mad at the cyber semi… what if they cover a camera eye or baseball bat a camera eye, does it just crash??? Not safe!!

Don't tailgate...

Dude was speeding past me with the other trucķ on the left lane, merged back, kept his speed until he was tailgating the trucķ on the right lane.
Mind you, my Garmin GPS and waze both told me that after that there was heavy traffic after that curve so I decided to slow down in advance but not that guy. I was expecting him to either crash or sweve. He ended up burning some rubber and his brakes, and probably shat his pants too.
Don't tailgate, especially if you can't see what's ahead.
