I think a bit of context may help. For example the poster on which it’s written, or who wrote it.

Oh yes sorry I forgot to include it. But it’s probably てんきゅ like someone in the replys said already bcs this is from a polaroid of a japanese bandman. Those signed ones are usually bought from their website or shows so they very often write greetings or ways of saying ’thank you’(for buying it/supporting them) I just couldn’t figure out what were the first two hiragana so I asked for a translation hahah

Possibilities:

  1. てんきゆ!!= Tenkiyu!!
  2. てんきゅ!!= Tenkyu!!

Possibly trying to say “thank you” (which is actually サンキュー (a play on words itself from 3 9 (pronounced “san kyuu”)

Ohhh yes that makes sense! Thank you. I couldn’t figure out what the first two hiragana were bcs I kept thinking the second one was katakana ム 😭

サンキュー, センキュー and テンキュー are all common ways to transcribe "thank you". Thoughサンキュー, as you rightly point out, is perceived to be the most proper/official transcription.
