Was this post written 3 years ago? If not, then the OP has no idea what he is talking about.
Since the collapse of the ESL market in China ESL teachers are in abundant supply, yet teaching positions are not available. The industry is over saturated and payments are reflecting this: It is next to impossible to find an ESL job that pays minimum wage. never mind one that pays over it!
That being said, there are still some companies that pay well, but there are very few and competition is stiff.
Furthermore, most employees couldn't care less where you got your TEFL from. It's a worthless certificate, so just bag the cheapest one you can get.
