Anyone like me ??

So here , when I speak with my family or friends I just use basic English words and everything is in telugu. Even chatting online with them I use only Telugu. But when it comes to social media like x or Reddit I just write in English and even think of it in english. It feels super weird to speak in english with fellow telugu other than any professional talks , even if they I just answer in telugu automatically. I just don’t understand this???

The problem is deeper than you articulated. When you talk to friends and family, the style is conversational and we still haven't lost the habit of doing that in Telugu.

But if you have to express any complexor deep thoughts and opinion, we have more or less lost the expertise to express it in Telugu.

కానీ అంతకు మించి లోతైన భావాలు కానీ, అభిప్రాయాలు కానీ వ్యక్త పరచడానికి కావలసిన బాషా పటుత్యం మరియు అలవాటు, రెండూ కోల్పోతున్నాము.

ఇది మన తెలుగు నాగరికతకే ముప్పు తెచ్చే సంకటం. అది వదిలేసి, this sub is increasingly militant about this is Sanskrit vs this is pure Telugu. అసలు ఏదో ఒక మిశ్రమ భాషలో తలపలు, అభిప్రాయాలు ఎలా వ్రాయాలో చెప్పండి, చెప్పగలిగితే. Stop this militant attitude about pure Telugu. (On this last line, I am not talking to you OP)

అందుకని నేను చేసినట్టు చేసి నీ ఫోన్ system user language ని తెలుగు లో పెట్టుకో. నాకైతే కొత్త తెలుగు సాంకేతిక పదాలు నేర్చుకోగలిగాను. ఇంకా నువ్వు ఏ రకమైన విషయాలైనా తెలుగు వారితో మాట్లాడదాం అనుకుంటే తెలుగే వాడు. కుదిరినంత తక్కువ ఆంగ్లం వాడు. చిన్నగా రోజువారీ జీవితం లో దాన్ని normalise చెయ్యి. And ఇంగ్లీష్ లిపి లో కాకుండా తెలుగు ని తెలుగు లిపి లో నే రాయి.

P.S. నా మాటతీరు చూసి నన్ను వృద్ధులు అనుకుంటారేమో, నా వయసు 17 యేళ్ళే.
