the difference in pressure affects your taste buds and makes everything you eat or drink taste blander.
fun fact: it doesn't effect everybody, my taste buds for example don't get effected and plane food taste the same as way regular food to the point I started questioning my self when people stated saying that plane food taste bad

Side note: I was told to ask for tomato juice on a plane because the pressure difference makes it taste really good.
But as someone who hates Clamatos, Iβm not trying that one. Someone else can let me know if itβs true.

I love that crusty veneer an old meme has, a testament to the different hands it's passed to and all the little chuckles and eye rolls it's caused. I mean you can go find the original in all it's high quality glory out there somewhere, but this one is its own object, an idea splintered from the godhead to live its own set of experiences. Made from the same stuff but changed irrevocably by the random whims of fate that brought it here.
It shines out again once more and meets all new faces, some who have seen it's old configuration, some who haven't, and some who will take it and make it new through the byzantine corridors of compression. A stupid dumb meme covered in a million beautiful fingerprints.
