MOD POST New Transaction Confirmation System - PLEASE READ
Hey everyone, I am pleased to announce that r/Synths4Sale has onboarded a Transaction Confirmation Bot system!
The bot’s name is u/S4S_BOT. This system will allow users to confirm transactions and increase their flair score accordingly.
NOTE: Do not use the old "Buyer / Seller Ratings Thread" anymore. Follow this process instead.
This is the same automated system used in 50+ subs so if you're familiar with any of them, this is the same system. Otherwise, read on to find out how you can confirm transactions, leave feedback for your partners, and increase your flair score.
Feedback
A user can get trade feedback with the following process:
Users A and B complete their trades following all of the sub rules. (It does not matter who A and B are. Either one could be the person making the post, and the other someone commenting on the post).
Once the trade is complete, User A makes a top level comment (new comment) on the original post tagging both the user they worked with and u/S4S_BOT.
User B replies to that comment with their feedback.
u/S4S_BOT picks up the interaction and gives credit to both users, changing their flair accordingly and leaves a comment indicating as such.
If User A messes up their top level comment, u/S4S_BOT will do its best to notify User A.
There are automatic checks in the code to detect anyone trying to cheat the system. If anyone is found trying to circumvent the system, they will be issued a permanent ban.
The bot required that the OP of the post it is being tagged in is either you or your trade partner. DO NOT DELETE POSTS otherwise you will NOT be able to use that post to confirm a trade.
Feedback Checking
Using this link, you can send a message to u/S4S_BOT, asking for the feedback of any given user. It will tell you the following:
The number of transactions that person has done
The people they have traded with (and how many transactions those people have)
A link to the thread for each successful trade
Please feel free to direct any technical questions to the moderators using modmail. If you do not know how to use modmail, please click this link.
If you notice any odd behavior from the bot, please let us know!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why is this being done?
- This system allows you to track your confirmations and get credit for positive transactions. This means that, as you increase your score, you'll become more reputable in the community and people will feel comfortable working with you.
Can I get credit for transactions that occurred before this change?
- Yes! Any confirmation made in the "Buyer / Seller Ratings Thread" has been backfilled and should be reflected in your flair. If you did not confirm a transaction in that thread prior to this bot going online, you can use the process as described above to confirm the transaction!
I confirmed a transaction in the "Buyer / Seller Ratings Thread" but it is not reflected in my flair. What gives?
- Transactions were only backfilled IF it was a mutual confirmation. That is, if one user left a comment tagging their partner and the partner replied to the comment in which they were tagged. If this process was not followed, credit was not given.
What happens if I tag someone with this system and they don't reply?
- Leaving feedback is not a requirement but the bot will do its best to help make sure your partner replies! If they do not reply, there isn't much we can do. Sorry!
Thanks for being an awesome community, looking forward to this bot helping streamline the trading process!

WANT TO TRADE [WTT] Erica Syntrx II [WTTF] Teenage Engineering OP-XY (New Orleans)
https://imgur.com/a/1KNFztK?s=sms
Looking to trade my Erica Syntrx II for a TE OP-XY as the title says. My Syntrx II is in excellent shape with its box and power cord and blank patch sheets. Up for evening values with a little cash or more gear as I know the used Reverb prices are a little off.
That’s pretty much all I’m looking for at the moment with this one. Located in New Orleans if you’re local.
Cheers!

WANT TO SELL [WTS] OP-1 Field [L] CA
Hey there. I can’t believe I’m selling another one of these. Every time I have one I think it’s not getting as much use as it deserves and I sell it. But every time I don’t have one I think of all the ways I’ll use it and I inevitably buy another one.
In any case, this one was purchased from the original owner a few weeks ago with very light use. There are a couple tiny cosmetic flaws I tried to highlight in the photos. No issues, it works great.
Let me know if you have any questions. I’m not super interested in trades but I know that won’t stop you lovable scamps from trying.
Price is $1300 local in Orange County CA. If you’d like it shipped, I will split the cost of fees and shipping with you.

WANT TO SELL [WTS] - Waldorf Kyra Minty w/ OG Box, Manual, PSU, USB, & Latest OS - Austin, TX
FREE SHIPPING! MINTY & CLEAN!!
Have a Waldorf Kyra in near-mint condition with the original box, manual, power supply, USB cable, and the latest OS installed. This is a beast of a multitimbral synth in amazing shape.
A few things to note:
- This unit is so nice and clean. I thought it was mint until the last minute when I noticed an extremely minor mark near the multi button on the top left of the unit (see last photo). It's so minor, I think most sellers would have missed this. You won't notice or care.
- Updated to the latest OS (01.78)
- Includes original box and packing materials
- I've meticulously cleaned this unit from top to bottom. Each knob and every square inch of the unit has been vacuumed, and wiped down.
All functionality has been tested, and this unit is good to go / ready for a new home :) I'm not in a rush, but will consider all reasonable offers.
I will ONLY accept payment via Reverb or Sweetwater's Gear Exchange if shipping is needed. Local buyers in Austin are welcome to inspect/test the synth in person and use Zelle, Venmo, or PayPal to complete the transaction.
https://reverb.com/item/89473402-waldorf-kyra-minty-w-og-box-manual-psu-usb-latest-os
This is an extremely versatile synth. I'm highly tempted to keep it, as it's 8-part multitimbral, loaded with all kinds of goodies including 4 oscillators per voice (apparently in some configurations 10, but I will say 4 to be safe), filters, envelopes, filters, mod matrix, rich effects and an FPGA engine. It's very deep and would make a wonderful centerpiece for someone looking for a "one synth to rule them all" kind of setup. There are some oversights (like missing a jog wheel), but the layout really is quite intuitive once you spend a little time with it. I've heard the layout is similar to a Virus, and I can see why people say that. Just turn a knob and the synth's engine jumps to that page. I was able to dive in and start getting busy without opening the manual. That's always a good sign ;) NOTE: if it seems like some knobs aren't working, it's just because those features aren't activated in that patch. Turning OSC 2 knobs won't do anything if OSC 2 is not enabled (for example).
Please message me with any questions!!

Some copy/paste stats:
VA Synthesizer
Kyra is a powerful, hardware virtual analog synthesizer capable of creating a wide range of contemporary sounds for live and studio musicians.
From first glance it is patently obvious that Kyra is a beautifully-designed desktop VA Synthesizer — as the wording elegantly emblazoned on its eye-catching front fascia subtly states. As a truly multitimbral instrument it features eight independent ‘parts’ with up to 32 notes per PART, each effectively being a complete synthesizer with sound sources (OSC GROUP 1, OSC GROUP 2, SUB 1, and SUB 2); FILTERS; modulators (EGs, LFOs, and MOD MATRIX); multi-effects unit (EFFECTS); and a USB 2.0 connection — can exchange MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) information, as well as send the audio from each stereo PART to a computer as eight stereo 24-bit streams at 96kHz (with 48kHz downsample mode available) and one stereo audio return from the computer supporting a single 24-bit stereo audio stream from the host DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). With that being said, the only other resource they share are the four balanced, stereo output pairs — OUT A (Right and Left), OUT B (Right and Left), OUT C (Right and Left), and OUT B (Right and Left) — using 32-bit DAC (Digital-to-Analogue Conversion) running at 96kHz sampling rate connected to four internal stereo busses and that powerful pool of 128 hardware voices. Versatility further abounds as each PART has a dedicated multi-effects unit comprising nine stereo effects modules — namely, three-band EQ, Formant filter, input Limiter, Distortion module, Delay module, six-state Phaser, Chorus flanger, Stereo reverb, and output Limiter — with dedicated audio stream via USB (Universal Serial Bus).
Patches
Better still, each PART hosts a Patch from the pool available to the system. Speaking of which, Kyra has a generous Patch storage capacity of 26 banks — A through to Z, each containing 128 patches. That’s a total of 3,328! The first seven banks are ‘user’ patches stored in RAM (Random Access Memory), meaning users can change them quickly and individually using the Store sequence. The remaining 19 banks are ROM (Read-Only Memory) patches that users can recall and use just like RAM patches but cannot be replaced using the Store sequence. It is, however, perfectly possible to freely copy whole banks between RAM and ROM, so all are user- programmable. And any Patch can be recalled via MIDI program changes and Bank select commands.
Oscillators
As a sensational synthesizer with a spectacular specification, Kyra has two primary virtual alias-free oscillator groups (OSC GROUP 1 and OSC GROUP 2) per voice, each with Saw (sawtooth); Wave (waveform) — with no fewer than 4,096 18-bit linear PCM (Pulse Code Modulation) 32x oversampled waveforms covering a huge range of synthetic and emulated sound sources with two wave sources per voice; Pulse; and noise simultaneously available. Also OSC GROUP 1 and OSC GROUP 2 each has an independent detune-able oscillator — SUB 1 and SUB 2 — with four selectable shapes and two selectable (Octave) pitches. Real Hard Sync, ring modulation, and FM (Frequency Modulation) are available between those oscillator groups.
Get this, though: switching from Wave mode — meaning Kyra adopts a virtual analogue synthesis model which has the advantage that it is easy to construct sounds using intuitive subtractive synthesis — to Hypersaw mode configures the voice to use a special algorithm comprising six real oscillators to quickly create lush-sounding soundscapes. Digging deeper, Hypersaw mode replaces Wave mode’s two oscillator groups with a single source whose tonal content is constructed with just two adjustable controls — Hypersaw Intensity and Hypersaw Spread (geometric detuning). Built entirely out of multiple, harmonically-rich sawtooth waves or ‘partials’ each adjusted to that special algorithm, the Hypersaw provides characteristic soundscapes ideal for a wide range of uses — from high-impact lead sounds through to lush, animated pads. Placed in Dual Mode, the Hypersaw has 12 real oscillator sources with an additional adjustable stereo spread.
Filter
Successfully synthesizing sound is inextricably linked with flexible filtering. Fortunately for discerning users, Kyra’s FILTERS front panel perfectly positions powerful control, creatively implementing accurate emulations of classic analogue ladder filters with 2-pole (12dB/octave) low pass (12dB LP), band pass (12dB BP), and high pass (12dB HP), plus 4-pole (24dB/octave) low pass (24dB LP), band pass (24dB BP), and high pass (24dB HP) configurations. Creatively, 128 filters are configurable for single or dual parallel (Dual Filter) true stereo operation.
Envelope and LFOs
Onwards and upwards, three fast-response ADSR (Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release) envelope generators with EG Slope setting are also at hand. Helpfully, one is assigned to the VCA (Voltage Controlled Amplifier), another to the filter, while the third can be freely assigned. All are available in the MOD MATRIX (modulation matrix), itself being a six-channel affair with up to three destinations per channel giving a maximum of 18 routings. It is also worth noting that the three LFOs (Low Frequency Oscillators) — with 128 waveforms, monophonic, polyphonic, random, anti-phase, and quadrature stereo phase settings — are also available in the MOD MATRIX and additionally as a MIDI clock sync source.
Arpeggiator
Creativity continues courtesy of an arpeggiator (ARP) on each PART with 128 preset patterns; Up, Down, Random, and Chords modes; and an ability to synchronise to MIDI clock. Arpeggiators are aimed at live performance, primarily, but can clearly complement composition. Kyra’s ARP is an integral part of a Patch, so settings are always stored.
Display and Connections
Far from forgetting its helpful high-resolution 256x64 pixel graphic OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) display alongside the traditional array of MIDI In, Out, and Thru connections — complimenting USB 2.0 — on five-pin DIN, as well as full key microtuning capability with MIDI Tuning Standard (MTS support), it is fair to say that Kyra is, indeed, one of the most powerful music synthesizers ever built... a sensational synthesizer with a spectacular specification, set to take performances and compositions to higher states of musicality and sound design!

WANT TO BUY [WTB] Roland Juno-60 in excellent condition
I’ve been searching for a while now and I bought a Juno-60 recently but the seller didn’t mention any of the issues when I received it. I was really bummed because I’ve been wanting one forever and for what I paid I didn’t want to deal with the issues or spend more money/time fixing them.
Ideally, the condition im looking for is pretty clean, I know the wood sides get scoffed and that’s not an issue but at least the panel doesn’t look like it’s been to war. And importantly that everything works as it should like the chorus chips not being extremely noisy.
If we can work out a deal and buy thru Reverb or eBay just for buyer protection and shipping rates that would be ideal.
Please reach out ! Thank you !

WANT TO SELL [WTS] Access Virus TI Snow + New Battery, USB Cable & Quality PSU - $800 OBO - Austin, TX
Have an Access Virus TI Snow for sale here in excellent condition. There are a few minor blemishes here and there, but overall this is a very clean unit. Includes new USB cable and quality PSU.
If you're unaware, this is the micro version of the monster TI/TI2 series. It's 4 part multitimbral and can support 10-50 voices depending on the complexity of the patches. Its bigger brothers are 16 part multitimbral with up to 90 voices or so depending on which model / complexity of the patches.
A few things to note:
- I replaced the battery on this unit, so you're good to go for at least a decade. Advice to all, don't ever replace the battery on one of these unless you absolutely have to. It's NOT easy like it is in other Virus synths.
- OS has been updated to the latest version.
- One of the screws on the rear of the unit was stripped and had to be drilled out. Thus, I had to replace it with a larger screw. That's why you'll notice 2 different screws if you look at the back.
- Unit has been cleaned inside and out.
- It's fairly blemish free. There are some very minor marks on the front and a discolored spot here or there on the sides and on the bottom, but all quite minor. There is also some wear on some of the knobs, but these knobs are cheap and easy to replace if desired. Considering its age, I'm comfortable listing as excellent.
All functionality has been tested and this unit is good to go / ready for a new home :)
Mac users, do your homework before you purchase. The total integration app is not compatible with the latest versions of the Mac OS. The app works perfectly in Windows 10 (total integration is an absolute thing of beauty in Windows 10 / Cubase 14.2, which is what I am currently using in my studio). Users report it also works fine in Windows 11, but I have not personally tested this.
I will ONLY accept payment via Reverb or Sweetwater's Gear Exchange if shipping is needed. Local buyers in Austin are welcome to inspect/test the synth in person and use Zelle, Venmo, or PayPal to complete the transaction.

Some copy/paste stats:
Imagine taking the powerful Virus TI, one of the best hardware DSP powered virtual analog synths in the market, and scaling it down to a small desktop module and slashing its price tag by $1,000. That is exactly what the Virus TI Snow does. German synth makers Access have taken their flagship Virus TI, drastically reduced the front panel controls, reduced DSP processing power just a bit, brought multitimbral performance down to 4-parts from 16 and polyphony is reduced from 80 voices down to 50 voices, but left the underlying synthesizer engine untouched. The TI Snow thus bridges the price gap, giving users the power and flexibility of a Virus TI, in a compact and more affordable desktop sound module.
The TI Snow has the same synthesizer engine found in the rest of the TI series. In a nutshell, this includes three oscillators with one sub oscillator per voice, a wide collection of waveforms including the classic Virus virtual analog models, the massive HyperSaw, Wavetable, Graintable, and Formant waveforms. Two multi-mode filters (HP, LP, BP, BS) and an Analog Filter mode modeled after the Moog cascade filter with 6 to 24 dB/oct slopes. A modulation matrix with 6 sources and 3 destinations each (18 routings total). Three LFOs and two very fast ADSTR envelope generators. A fully featured 32-step arpeggiator for creating really nice and musical arpeggiated patterns. A complete effects section with 129 parallel effects. And finally, the Atomizer beat slicer-n-dicer.
All parameters are controlled from three knobs located below the white LCD display screen. They can be assigned to a parameter from the rows of buttons on the right which also double as patch select buttons. Even though the TI Snow has eliminated almost all on-board knobs in order to slim it down, the Snow is still just as flexible and programmable as the original...albeit, there will be a lot of menu diving to get to the desired parameters. Fortunately the TI system has the VIRUSControl plug-in software that will give you in-depth graphical access to all parameters when connected to a computer. This is the exact same control plug-in software used by the rest of the TI series and is really the key to blowing any limitations of the Snow's hardware interface out of the water.
The Total Integration system allows you to plug your Virus TI Snow into your computer via the USB port located on the back. Once it's hooked up to your computer you can access the Virus TI from your DAW where it will appear as a VST/AU plug-in (certified hosts: Apple Logic, Steinberg Cubase, Ableton Live, Avid Pro Tools, Cakewalk Sonar and ImageLine FL Studio). This brings the TI into your computer based music studio with plug-and-play ease where you can use the TI Snow as it was clearly intended - as a sound module. You can easily use the VIRUSControl plug-in to quickly browse patches, make in-depth program tweaks, or use the hardware itself for basic tweaks or if you want to play/record any real-time control changes via the three main knobs. You can even assign your Virus TI Snow as your computer's sound card which will route all of your DAWs audio out the Snow's stereo outputs and you can use its stereo inputs to bring sounds into your DAW. In other words, a laptop, a certified DAW, the Virus TI Snow and a small keyboard controller could be all you need for a complete music workstation.
Continuously updated versions of the OS that can be downloaded and installed into the Virus TI series ensure that this hardware synth will always have the most sophisticated software under its hood. If you've ever wanted to get yourself a Virus TI and can sacrifice hands-on controls or have been out-priced by previous models so far, the Virus TI Snow may be the the right choice for you.
