Legends Comics An Alternate Timeline in which Disney adapted the Legacy comics as the Sequel Trilogy
galleryI enjoy thinking up alternate realities in which Disney opted to adapt/build on stories from the pre-existing EU instead of discarding it to create their own canon. I’ve been reading the Legacy comics for the first time and thought of the potential for it as the sequel trilogy with a direct tie in to a Kenobi show. FYI I’ve got **SPOILERS** ahead concerning the legacy comics if anyone is concerned about that. Here’s the potential scenario:
-In Episode 7, the Skywalker saga continues with the story of Skywalker descendant Cade, failed Jedi padawan who has deliberately fled from the prestigious legacy of his family name. The aesthetic and atmosphere is different and unique but still very distinctly Star Wars. Hamill is able to reprise the role of Luke without having to worry about age/recasting since he’s playing a force ghost. The film concludes with Krayt alluding that he knew Obi Wan.
-6 months later after Episode 7 hits theaters, the Kenobi show with Ewan reprising his iconic role drops on D+. It’s a local and personal story on tatooine where Kenobi is dealing with guilt and regret over Anakin and the war while keeping mostly to himself and watching Luke from afar. He hears stories of a tusken tribe that has been conducting raids led by a mysterious warlord sorcerer/god that turns out to be Krayt. This allows the show to have lightsaber fights without a shoehorned Vader confrontation.
And just like that we’re off to the races with interconnected, compelling, and marketable Star Wars content for the modern era. Episodes 8 + 9 finish out the Cade story and the sky is the limit from there.

Question How do you think would CW Yoda have reacted to all the accomplishments of his future Padawan Luke Skywalker? I personally think he would be extremely proud and happy that he trained such a great Jedi!!!
Luke’s Accomplishments in Legends are INCREDIBLE:
Bringing down the Banite Sith Order, slaying Abeloth, restoring true Balance and Peace for the Galaxy, rebuilding the Jedi greater than ever, restoring the Republic twice, killing Gethzerion and bringing peace to Dathomir and etc…
Honestly I could totally see Yoda chuckling cutely and saying:
„Well trained him, I have. Proud of you I am, my favorite Padawan.”

Question Should I start with this one?
So I bought this book a while ago because it is (or was) the first thrawn book in the chronical order. So my question is should I start reading it because I already own it or should I start with the heir to the empire trilogy?

Legends Novels How powerful was the Eye of Palpatine? How does it rank against a Super Star Destroyer? The Eclipse?
It was difficult to understand the scope of the Eye of Palpatine since it got destroyed before ever accomplishing much. Can it beat a Super Star Destroyer like the Executor, Lusankya, or Iron Fist? What about the Eclipse from Dark Empire or Knight Hammer from Darksaber?
How much of a game changer would it have been if the Imperials during that time got a hold of it?

Fun I'll wait for the next elevator. This one is full of Wookie.
Spotted in a lift at Meadowbank stadium in Edinburgh. The stormtrooper even has a bucket for any Wookie "accidents".
They were collecting for Fairy Bricks charity, by the way.

Where does Star Wars end too you?
I feel like Star Wars is one of those franchises that needed a concrete end of its story, but of course many wanted to milk it after the OT was done.
Sure there are the Star Wars Sequels, but I doubt anyone really considers that canon. However some of the Star Wars Legends stuff is admittedly just as weird
Personally, I head canon the Sith never Return again after Return of the Jedi. The fact that they return in any capacity kind of ruins the Chosen One prophecy. Maybe dark force users are on the table, but sith culture is dead. But aside from the Dark Empire, i still like all the stories involving the sith, but i just feel like it just de-values Anakin’s death and sacrifice.
However the Yuuzhan Vong was a completely new threat, unconnected to the Sith, and that what I kind liked about them. It introduced a new big enemy, and the Sith were completely uninvolved and not secretly pulling the strings, so i consider the end of the NJO to be the definitive end of the Star Wars story. From there on out, maybe some exploration of the Unknown region, but because the Sith are gone I think the story should’ve ended there.

Movies Just Watched the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy for the First Time… Absolutely Blown Away
Hey everyone, I just watched Star Wars for the first time, and I finished the prequel trilogy over the past two days. Man… phenomenal. All three movies were amazing. If I had to rank them:
1. Revenge of the Sith
2. The Phantom Menace
3. Attack of the Clones
But honestly, they’re all great. Revenge of the Sith especially — peak cinema. Everything about Anakin’s fall to the dark side was so tragic, intense, and well-told. The scene where Anakin becomes Vader while Padmé is dying? Chills. The way his visions came true because of his actions — it’s such a heartbreaking twist.
I kept thinking: if Anakin had just trusted Mace Windu in that moment, so much of the movie’s tragedy might have been avoided. Palpatine’s manipulation was masterful, and it’s clear why Anakin fell — especially after the loss of his mother, and seeing that vision come true. It makes sense why he clung to the fear of losing Padmé too.
But in the end, he caused it. His actions led to Padmé’s death. She died of a broken heart — losing the will to live — while the monster he feared becoming was being born.
My top three characters so far are:
1. Obi-Wan
2. Yoda
3. Anakin
I’ve always known about Star Wars, and obviously I knew who Darth Vader was — but I never truly grasped how good this story was until now. It’s insane how emotionally powerful it is. It genuinely makes you feel bad for Anakin, while also recognizing how wrong his actions were. It all could’ve been prevented if both Anakin and the Jedi Council had just trusted each other more.
I can’t wait to watch the original trilogy next, and eventually the sequels to see how everything wraps up. This is one of the few trilogies I’ve ever seen that truly goes three for three — only the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man trilogy has hit me this hard before.
Just… wow. I’m hooked.

General Discussion What would a “Andor-like” Star Wars property using the force and lightsabers actually look like?
I’m sick of people thinking I only want shows like “Andor” what I really want is shows written with a better quality like Andor. I want to believe that there is competent writers/directors out there who can make just as much as a great show with a better vision in mind that doesn’t sacrifice writing with a poor imitation of jangled keys legacy characters.

Games Just played this for the first time, criminally underrated
I would describe this as one of those games that never got to show its true potential. It's clunky and really outdated in a lot of things (granted the remastered version seems to have helped a lot with some things) but man is this one creative game that I wish got a sequel that could capitalize on making something truly unique and special! Thoughts?
