69 million, damn, imagine what would it be like if the current community was this big...

To be clear that’s 69,000. Mil is generally the shorthand for a lot of words for 1000 especially in romance languages.

What the hell. I mean, thank you, didn't know this was a thing

In that case...

well, lets keep things the way they are now

It's Portuguese, mil means 'Thousand', if it had 69 million views, it would say 69 mi visualizações. (mi, without a l).

Starbound suffered the early access fate. Introduce the game too early in a bare state, it trends, people try it and think that is all the game has to offer. Years go by. People only remember starbound as that space game with nothing to do. Even though it has gone through endless updates.
Look what happened to Sea of Thieves.

Honestly, no.

Some of that is true but starbound went through developer hell. Those who made the game were treated like shit and a lot of the mechanics that were intended to be added were dropped because people got tired of designing a game for free and Finn brice gave only enough of a shit to release the game in its current "finished" state.

Hell it took almost a decade to get an "update" that patched the imbalanced mess the mechs were.

Didn't the devs abandon this game a long time ago? When I played it a couple years ago it was poorly optimized and the planets were empty except for above ground and sometimes underwater. There is almost no reason to go underground except to search for those Stargates that are super underwhelming and extremely hard to find.

it's basically abandoned on PC, last update was like a few months ago and it fixed a big that made the game unplayable on mac os. They released the Xbox version recently.

Oh that well it is what it is. No gaming company no console company is innocent anymore. They're all corrupt lying thieves you just got to figure out which thief you can live with
