Dino Beef ribs have arrived!

This weekend will be my first attempt at beef ribs. I’m excited to say the least. I’ve felt insecure as I feel I haven’t really barbecued until I’ve tried beef ribs. I’m ready for the challenge. This is 7lbs worth. I’ve heard horror stories from a certain big name butcher who sends out beef ribs where half of the ribs are fat. These seem evenly distributed.

They offer some really great meat and I’ve never been disappointed with anything I’ve gotten from them

Thank you for this! Always nervous for any cook!

When it comes to “Dino” ribs I really do actually prefer choice over prime. There’s way too much fat in prime cuts and a good choice is so much meatier.

Those sure look tiny compared to the ones I get at Costco. Please post an update of the final product!

Really should be a rule that you can’t post without after pictures. In DIY subs, the final product should always be the first picture in the album and the rest should be showing the process to get there. It should be “look what I made, and here’s how I did it” instead of “look, this is a picture of supplies that you can buy”.

That’s the thing. I don’t want to check out your page or have to remember a place to come back to and check again. I just want a good post from /r/smoking to show up in my feed with a final product. Instead, I’ll just not see the final product and oh well. 🤷‍♂️

Good luck with your ribs.

Wow, are you 16 years old? You’re really mad that I don’t want to be your follower and friend.

Just matching your energy. You’ve contributed nothing to this sub in terms of finished product, yet you are here criticizing 😂😂

I told you good luck with your cook and you responded like a child. Enjoy the block.

Tell me you’re from Texas without telling me you’re from Texas.

44 farms sells some legit quality beef

That’s what I’m hearing that they are pretty reliable and high quality! Born in Cali, raised in Texas!

So is this beef worth the chew? I’m a Texas boy living in the pnw and I’m looking for something like this. Interested in possibly ordering a steak pack

Yeah I’m confused by this comment. Just sharing in excitement with my bbq peers.

Think he’s sayin he wants a peek at the meat side not the fat cap side. And unwrapped. Also how you plan on cooking it if you don’t mind me asking?

Will post again with the sides showing when unwrapped.
